What makes me different from every other property copywriter?
I have mad skillz (and a sense of humour)
While other property copywriters start out as journalists or real estate agents, I'm a classically trained copywriter. I have a Bachelor of Communication (Advertising / Marketing) from the University of Canberra. And in 2001, I topped AWARD School - the auspicious Australasian Writers & Art Directors Association course. (This rare achievement is met with 'OMG' by advertising peeps and 'WTF' by non-advertising peeps. Let's just say AWARD School is the Harvard of the advertising industry for creative professionals.) I then worked in top advertising agencies writing print, outdoor, radio, TV and online campaigns for such clients as Virgin and Nestle - and even won some awards. In 2004, I became a freelance copywriter specialising in the real estate market. I'm also the author of a humorous dating advice book. Clearly, not your average property copywriter!
I've been around forever (longer than Facebook and iPhones)
I'm one of a handful of Sydney property copywriters who have been around since the beginning. Back in 2004, property copywriting was somewhat of a new service (and I used to drive around with a street directory before upgrading to a TomTom and then Google maps). But it didn't take long to catch on. And over the past 20 years, I've written the copy for literally thousands of residential listings all over Sydney - from Palm Beach to Cronulla Beach and everywhere in between. I grew up in Mosman and currently live in Lane Cove with my hubby, David, our French bulldog, Punky, and our black cat, Bicky. So, I work mostly on the North Shore and Inner West. I lived in Paddington for four years, so I'm completely comfortable with the Eastern Suburbs. And we intend to make the Northern Beaches our home someday, so I'm always happy to venture out that way. I'm old (in a good way)
Okay, maybe 'old' isn't the right word. 'Mature' would be more like it. Being in my 40s, I now understand why they say, 'Life begins at 40.' Because you're able to take all the mistakes you made in your youth and start afresh as a much better version of yourself. I believe maturity has value both personally and professionally.

Enjoy Your Copy
You'll receive all the copy you need for your listing via email. Each piece of copy will be carefully crafted to fit into the layouts of your various marketing materials (such as your brochure, signboard, mail card etc.). I'll invoice you at the end of each month (terms: nett 14 days).
